The stakes
The widespread adoption of AI at the end of 2022 had the theatrical, supernatural effect of ancient tragedy: the “deus ex machina” appeared on our screens. Wonder and dread! Destiny finally revealed itself… But after more than two years, the debates and overall assessment indicate that AI presents a wide range of new risks: strategic, economic, and human.
Furthermore, the phenomenon
“ GenAI ” has strongly revived the question of the impact of screens,
permanent connectivity, and algorithms, both intellectually and
cognitively, as well as psychologically. The question of consciousness thus comes
to the forefront and requires an answer.
The challenge of cognitive defense concerns everyone – and therefore certainly also business leaders, who are among the first to be ” snatched up by
AIs “.
The expert involved
Bertrand Marie Flourez, playwright, essayist and independent researcher.
A graduate in Law and Comparative Political Analysis from the University of Bordeaux, he teaches creative writing and written communication in communication and management institutes, and French as a Foreign Language (Sciences-Po Paris).
A committed author of the century
and a reserve officer, he carried out missions for the French Ministry of
Defense on external operations, within the Special Operations Command.
He also designs and leads
professional training courses: personal development, critical thinking,
soft skills.
He is the author of
” Our consciousness belongs to us: Keys to its liberation “, a work
which precisely defines the notion of consciousness, this relational faculty to
others and to the world, which we tend to externalize, sometimes with too little discernment.
The proposal for this unique HLU masterclass
Acquire tools for questioning, cognitive and non-cognitive, and for distancing oneself.
Developing a reflexive ability
to independently assess the value of words.
And in particular, by practicing together in the form of a writing workshop :
- rediscovering (or finding)
the mediation of writing: relearning one’s own words, questioning them
;
- to build one’s own
tool for reclaiming words by ” putting before oneself ” the
expressions, ideas, images, feelings, stories, in a pleasure
of writing;
- acquire, through the
practice of ” putting into words ” or written verbalization,
a personal tool for managing information flow, and thus for
regulating stress;
- (re)discover a free play
with words and language: daring or allowing oneself what comes, outwitting
censorship and then evaluating, dissociating the “ shame ” from words,
rediscovering a desire for words;
- understanding narration,
storytelling, ” cognitive biases ”
positive and negative;
- Develop free and personal expression through writing: embrace the atypical and recognize innovation and creation in various forms; gain a better understanding of one’s habits and/or personal world.
